Mominul's 4th Test Hundred

Little dynamo Mominul Haque smashed his fourth hundred of his short test career as Bangladesh is heading towards a formidable total in their 2nd innings. They had a lead of 129 runs in their 1st innings and reached into an overnight lead of 363 runs at tea of the fourth day of the third and final test against Zimbabwe. None of the batsmen from Bangladesh could score more than a single century in their first twelve matches. Mominul stepped into the field as a one down batsman after first innings centurion opener Imrul Kayes (15 runs 41 balls) got out early.
The youngster from Cox’s Bazar has been the most consistent batsman of Bangladesh since his debut in 2013 against Sri Lanka in Galle. He has so far scored four test centuries and eight fifties in his tests with an average of 56.61. He is unbeaten in 120 runs playing 159 balls with 12 fours. Mominul just pushed the bowlers of Zimbabwe with ease and steadily reached the hundred run mark. The little middle order batsman became one of the fastest batsmen to reach one thousand run marks. His best innings is of 181 runs.
He made a 136 runs partnership with opener Tamim Iqbal. Tamim played enthusiastically towards his knock of 65 (142 balls, 4×4). The opener lost his wicket when M’shangwe scattered his stump. Mominul build up a 55 run partnership with Mahmudullah Riyad. Mahmudullah was caught by Mutumbi off the delivery of Panyangara scoring 30 runs (28 balls, 4×3, 6×1). Shakib Al Hasan has joined in the field with Mominul and has so far produced a 30 run partnership in the fourth wicket.
