In a placid and batting friendly wicket in the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury
Stadium in Chittagong, teenage leg spinner Jubair Hossain has just
achieved his five wicket haul and placed Bangladesh into a dominating
position in the final session of the third and final test. He brought
initial success in the bowling early in the morning of the 3rd day
against Zimbabwe and eventually claimed 5 wickets and finished things
off for the hosts.
Chasing a formidable total of 503 set by the tigers in their 1st innings, the touring party lost one of their openers before the stumps of the second day but afterwards build a strong partnership of 160 runs in the second wicket. Second test centurion Hamilton Masakadza along with opener Sikandar Raza produced a solid stand for their team.
